Understanding Accounting LLP

The other types of entities that public accountants can set up to provide public accountancy services are public accounting firm and public accounting corporation (PAC). 

Public accountancy services means the audit and reporting on financial statements and performing acts that are required by law to be performed by a public accountant.

Accounting LLP is registered under the Accountants Act and the Limited Liability Act and has to comply with the requirements under both legislation.  For requirements under the Limited Liability Partnership Act, please refer to Setting Up an LLP.

Who Can Apply

Only public accountants or professional firms or registered filing agent (on behalf of the public accountant) can make the application to set up an Accounting LLP.
